Default LS7 2002 Firehawk

Below are a few photos of an LS7 swap we performed in a 2002 Firehawk Convertible. The owner wanted something that looked fairly stock when he opened the hood and had the drivability that he had when the car was stock.

A stock 2007 Z06 makes roughly 440-450 RWHP on our Dyno Jet. This car made 482 RWHP/463 RWTQ through an auto on the same dyno! Seems like it really liked the headers, exhaust, and tune!

Very nice. I was thinking about doing the same on my 98-SS. I'll get the magazine and read more into the conversion. Thanks.

The pictures really just do not do the car any justice... The install looks pretty much factory the way things were done. The guys in back did a really great job. Thing is quick too !!!

One thing that we failed to mention, this was through an auto as well. I wonder what it would have done through a manual?

Very nice! Were there any computer issues or was it pretty much drop it in, connect everything, and ready to go?

If you want to donate a LS7 to me you can do an install on my manual Vette and see what kind of numbers you get.

Very impressive numbers, would have hit 500+ through a T56

It was a pretty straightforward install, however there were a few small modifications made to the wiring.

The battery was moved to the back to make room for the oiling setup.

Is it possible to set up an ls7 dry sump setup on a regular 346 f-body?
