One of the main problems, IMO, with the present Corvette is the lack of a Camaro in the GM lineup. This has caused many who are "natural" Camaro owners to incur what is, for them, excessive debt in order to buy a C6.

The typical Camaro owner, IMO, is much younger, much less responsible, has far more wrecks and tickets, and makes his car sometimes unrecognizable with mods than the typical Corvette owner.

I've owned many Camaros when I was younger. Generalizations are never 100% accurate. Some Camaro owners are responsible but for the most part it's a far different owner profile. It's simply a fact of life that younger equals less responsible.

C'mon GM get the Camaro in the showrooms so that people who should be driving them instead of vettes can get em. Overall, and again generalizations are never 100%, the Camaro is a boys/young mans car and the vette is aimed at the more mature man who can afford it ( say 35+ vs under 35 ).

I saw Camaros and Mustangs doing the crazy stuff... There was also a Viper back there too.... IMO I wouldnt just point the finger at Camaro owners. These people are just idiots that happen to be driving Camaros and Mustangs....

BTW - if you notice in the video ... its not all Camaros ... there are a good bit of Mustangs and one Viper. But the Viper wasn't being ignorant. The Mustangs & Camaros sure as hell were.
