My brother scrubbed the rims on his 2002 WS6 Trans Am. We have a place in OKC that might have replacement rims at a reasonable cost, and he will be rolling through here on other business tomorrow night. He keeps describing the rims as "chrome" and the auto store calls them "polished aluminum".
Can anyone out there tell me if they are talking about the same thing ? The parts store closes at 2, and he won't be here till after 6. I'm out the cost if it's the wrong item.
Polished aluminum and chrome are two different things.
I was looking for something a little more specific... ie GM did not make a chrome wheel for the 2002 Trans Am or GM did make both chrome and aluminum wheels... Thanks for trying, but you really didn't help.

ok. Well they made both but the only thing I could find is that the WS6 Trans Am had 17" wheels which were high polished.
