V8 or GTFO. Unfortunately I realize the market they are aiming this car at, hence the V6 for the base model.

Outside is nice.

It's the inside I'm personally disappointed with.

I thought this car was awesome until I saw the new Challenger.. I might be going all Mopar

Here's the mock-up that was in the Transformers movie. (made of wood!)

I like it. 300hp V6 ain't bad, especially when you compare it to Mustang's V6 power of 210hp and Dodge's 250hp V6.

Anyone with any GM stock should hope GM sells a lot of these. Seems like it's the end of another high horsepower era, enjoy it while you can.

Seriously, i work for a Chevy dealer and we were at a meeting in NJ where they had the new Traverse, Aveo5 and Camaro.

It really pops in person.

I know the SS version is the new "z28" Q&A Article

"Will there be a Z28 model?"

CP: "There will be no Z28 model. Through the four generations of Camaro, there have been cases where Chevrolet chose to make the Z28 the top dog or the SS the top dog. As you're aware, Chevrolet is encouraging the SS strategy with cars such as the HHR SS and Cobalt SS. Consistent with this strategy, we have a Camaro SS."

Also from what Ive read the SS is going to have a sharper look compared to the base and i think that grill and what not are going to be apart of the SS package....

Over all i really like what theyve done with the car and am still sitting on the fence about whether to grab a Vette or the Camaro (I know the better half here would say Vette ;P)

How powerful is the optional V8 engine? Is it a watered down version of the LS3 engine?

From what ive been reading GM said: "For the top-of-the-line, the 6.2L V8 with manual six-speed transmission produces a projected 422 hp"

Camaro Features

How close itll be to that when it rolls of the lot is still to be seen but ive got hopes

Love the black plastic dorsal fin. It just screams "60's muscle car". I ordered that option on all cars I purchased new in the 60's (64 Malibu SS, 65 Impala 396/4speed, 66 Olds 442, 68 Caprice(not exactly a muscle car), 68 Torino GT fastback, 68 VW beetle(close to a muscle car, just short 4 cyls and about 300 HP).
