Black Grease
Would any grease work to slip a hose over a fitting. Would vacuum be affected? How about heating the rubber or what ever these hoses are made of to release them from 20 years of being attached to a metal fitting. Any secrets to success you might know?

To take off very hard just cut them next time if they have slack or heat gun the hose! Now to squeeze on working out in 40 degree weather i will have to use caliper grease it is only on a emissions system
