Default Seat Foam Question???

Seat Foam Question???

I redid the seats on our 69 with new foam. Now the seats are as hard has a rock. Way too hard and much harder that any other Vette I have been in. The foam I took out was not that old but was crumbling. Both sets were aftermarket Corvette specific foam castings.

So. I want to replace the foam again, Comments or suggestions.

Thanks, George

Used Al Knoch foam and seat covers. I thought the seats came out "firm" but sure look nice with no wrinkles as I've seen with many recovered seats.

Don't have any butt time on them though, so don't know if the foam will relax any.

Sounds like the MFG did not mix the two part mix correctly, causing it to contiue to harden. not stay soft.
