Default Question for NCRS people.....

I was just wondering if anyone knew when the 92' will be eliglible to be judged by NCRS.
I know that they are up to 89' right now.

Thanks in advance,
VET 350

I'm not aware of a particular date or time frame. The cars seem to come in to judging at around 15 to 20 years after manufacture. And there have had to be some changes - primarily in terms of bowtie judging - for the C4s, since a lot of these cars were bought, garaged, and left untouched.

I believe that the NCRS is now judging 1985 or 1986 corvettes. So I guess about 7 year before the 1992 year comes.

Word on the street is that it will be a couple of years (they'll probably roll 1990 through 1993 together). It's going to be a tough judging manual to write - they'll have to deal with B2Ks, ZR-1s, and the 40ths. I'm thinking maybe 2008...

Practice Judging on '90-'91's starts this spring, and the JG may be ready by Fall; don't know when work starts on 92's.

Interesting...why would they/we only do two years at a time?
