need some help with some engine numbers

Default need some help with some engine numbers

Ok a Car Im looking at on ebay has the following numbers on the 427

I cant find these numbers anywhere in my books so im figuring it came from something else and not a vette

anyway here are the numbers

driver side rear engine # 3969854 GM T7
passenger side rear engine # 026 71
passenger side front engine #T0331 CLB 11R1691


can anyone help with this?

Im very interested in the car and I need a new restoartion headache

never mind I found it

402 68-72 Pass, Chevelle, Camaro 4 BC, 2 & 4 Bolt Main

so my new question is whats it worth?

Id be looking to restore and install a correct dated block

Do your homework first on the complete replacement cost for all of the associated engine components. My buddy spent a long time getting all correct components for his 454 and spent a ton of money doing it. If the 402 runs reliably at least you can drive your car. I have never heard of anyone ever calling a 402 a performance engine so I would guess you aren't going to get much for it when you get the correct components.

yeah its not looking like tis worth a whole lot but if I can keep it and drive it like it is then it will work.

and yes it can get expensive finding the correct motor but the rest of the car looks really good for its age so I think its a good canidate for a resto
