Default Bolts

I am in the process of rebuilding a 1971 convertible. I have had the engine rebuilt, pulled the body off and had the frame completely rebuilt. I am now in the process of mounting the engine, transmission etc.

Is their a good reference guide for the proper bolts or does any company sell bolt kits for rebuilding Corvettes?

Paragon is probably the best Corvette chassis fastener supplier out there.

You might pick up a copy of "Corvette Chassis Restoration" by John Tripoli. He has a reference of head markings commonly found on Corvette chassis back in the appendix. Like John Z said, Paragon has a very big selection of commonly used chassis bolts. They have a large plastic "counter saver" that lists all their bolts and the sizes, that they will send you on request. They used to list them all in their catalogs but don't any longer. I've complained to them in the past that omitting that fastener guide is a big mistake.

Paragon has a laminated sheet with pictures and descriptions for bolts used on C3's. I picked it up at Corvette's at Carlisle a couple of years ago but it should be available in their catalog.
