Casting letters on Original KO Wheel Spinners?

Casting letters on Original KO Wheel Spinners?
Are there any casting letters or numbers of significance on original 65 KO spinners (on the back)?
My older reproduction KO wheel spinners (bought new in early 1988) have casting letters on the back side that say USA, RH (or LH) plus another 3 digits that are a combination of letters and numbers like AU2 and BU4, etc.
I just received new repro spinners (to replace my older ones that need rechroming), but the new ones only have a RH or LH casting on the back and no USA or other casting letters. These were made in China and came via Corvette America and shipped directly from PA. They seem to be of poorer quality than my 18 year old repros. This makes me want to return the new repros and just replate my older spinners. (restoring reproduction parts ... I guess it has finally come to that)
