make sure your gas cap is turned at least 3 clicks or you will see a light. my wifes 2000 impala did the same thing this weekend in indy for the races. we had set and idled for a long time with the air on and after driving several miles at speed i shut off the engine and the light never came back. :confused:

Patrick, easy fix. Mosey on down to your local Murray's Auto parts store. They have a tool rental plan. Rent yourself a code scaner. This little bugger will tell you exactly what's wrong, and best of all it will cost you NUTHIN'.
You will have to shell out $400.00 for the scanner and cartridge, but the whole deal is refundable when you bring it back.

Pat you beat me to the punch here buddy. I would drive it like you stole it for the next two months and then its some elses problem. Get your self a happy face sticker and place it over the light on the dash....problem solved :crazy:
