Friday Trivia
What no trivia questions yet?
I'm at work with a gazillion things to do and a pile of paperwork 6 inches high and am not in the mood.
What's the name of this song and who sang it?
'So I threw the man a twenty, jumped in, and fired that mother up'

You know that living in Texas I know every song they did, but I'll let someone else answer.

Re: Friday Trivia (Bryan Lee)
Ok, how about this one:
The car is in the front yard
and I’m …. sleeping with my clothes on
Came in through the window…. last night
And your long gone …… …….gone

Re: Friday Trivia (Don O'Connell)
Ok here's one for the Country folks........
Intro finger pickin on the Martin...........
"So long big city, it's time to say goodbye, I'm longing for those country roads
I need to see the sky, think I'll swing down south, visit Tennessee, see if that girl Annie, still remembers me......."
Lot of slick finger picking in this song

Re: Friday Trivia (sting66ray)
Sting66ray,
Close enough. "My own worst enemy" by Lit. I was introduced to this by the youngest member of the band I play in (he’s 40). It’s a pretty cool tune once you get used to it. It’s also a car ad jingle on TV. And many sport events on TV used it for “bumper” music this past year. If ya have a teen-age kid I’ll bet they have it on CD.

Patrick,
Panama Red by New Riders of the Purple Sage ? I remember the tune and album, but I don't want to get under the stairs and go though my albums to find it (its been 10 years since I played any vinyl).

Re: Friday Trivia (Patrick Tighe)
Commander Cody and the LPA. What a blast from the past. Didn't think anyone outside of TX had heard of them. Got a couple of their albums somewhere.
I was looking through my vinyl the other day and found one from a Houston band back in the 70's.. RW Crouch and the Bum Steers. Their 1 big hit was "If You Divorce Me Baby, Who'll Get The Truck?"
I can't believe I even bought it, I drank way too much back then.
