1968 Tail light housing question.

Default 1968 Tail light housing question.
I'm about ready to powder coat the tail light housing, but I wanted to verify what color GM used for the inside of the housing. I assume they were white? I know the back up lamp housing was white and the out side was bare steel. Any advice would be appreciated.

Some were white, and some were bare metal

April 20, 1968 #416660; mine are white. Outsides are bare metal.
