Patrick,
Whatever you did, it sure came out well. Looks like ya got off E-bay! (just kiddin')
If I ever get around to mine, I'll use your method..

Patrick, write a book. Or a least an article, for which publication I'm not sure. This is a great story and you have documented it nicely. I'd like to see all the photographs. I hope my sticker is there. From your picture I have a better idea where to look on the tank while still in the car. There are new people in this hobby every day that don't have all the books and articles that are available. A link or some other place to deposit information like this is needed. The Web will be the source of information for the future and you?ve done a great job capturing one of the most important phases of documenting a Corvette there is. :yesnod:

Very nice job on the Tank Sticker. When we dropped the tank on my 73, all that was left was a glue strip and an area which wasn't as rusty as the rest. I am the owner of the yellow 73 which RonD is restoring. I suspect that when I had the vehicle painted in 1990 after a rear-end collision, the shop (which specializes in Vettes) dropped the tank and took the sticker - to sell on E-Bay or ???? Oh well- maybe I'll find a copy under the dash, if I'm lucky.

Hey Patrick, the "bench seat" entry on your build order intriques me. Any idea how the "bench seat" applies to a Corvette? I can understand the optional headrest portion of it.

I agree. Probably part of the overall GM parts/options lingo.
