door sill plates....
my originals look pretty good but I bought some new ones off paragon haven't got them yet but been thinking should I just leave the originals on there or is that something thats not real important if it's original or not..what do you think?

What year car are we talking about?
I've recently found that on 68's these are another one of those one year only items.
Either way if you've already ordered them compare them with your old ones and if they are different the choose.

I was under the understanding that 68 sill plates weren't reproduced, instead 69 up were used.
Just to be safe before you get rid of your originals compare the width the new ones.
Years ago I bought a set from Eklers and they turned out to be about a 1/2" narrower than the original 68's.
There also might be part numbers on the originals that might not be on the repo's.
