am going to replace complete front end on 65 coupe this winter. have been looking at 1 piece fronts from all the various dealers, ecklers, mid-america, corvette central and a place called serershiems fibreglass in evanville indiana. anyone have any experience with these places or recomendations. have never done this before and would like to get the best fit for the money. thanks for the help. Buster
Serershiems in my opinion has the best reproduction glass parts currently available. Small family run company , you will talk to the owner when you call, ask him all you want, he will tell you exactly what you want to know without glossing over anything.
My recommendation would be to go with Eckler's. They make quality fiberglass. I've met the folks from Sermerscheim's and have purchased parts from them in the past. This was before they began making their own fiberglass. They're good people. If you're close enough, drive over to Evansville and take a look at how they do things. If you like what you see, buy their product.
Mike:
This is the first time I have disagreed with you. The last three orders I have received from Ecklers had to be returned for unacceptable quality, absolute junk. I've been buying from Ecklers since they were in Moliene Illinois, have many friends that work for them and would hate to see their business deteriorate but, If they don't make an effort to improve the quality of the products they sell they will suffer and are I believe.

No matter who you buy a one-piece PRESS molded front end from, it was made by either Sermersheimer or Corvette Image (www.corvetteimage.com). Both places have their fans, and I would check out each of them.
MANY companies sell HAND-LAID one piece front ends, but you SUFFER severely in NCRS judging if you have one of these and they can tell it. For an inexpensive "driver" however they are about 1/3 the cost.
