Either one Maybe. The 1100825 61 amp alternator was used with all cars with C60 A/c or K66 transistor ignition. The 1100884 alternator may also have been used on 300 HP with A/C. That is according to the NCRS Spec guide.
Since the 1100884 alternator is impossible to find I would suggest going with the 1100825 if you can find it.
I have a 69 built Feb 15, 1969 with a 350/300 auto with ps, pb, and ac. The Corvette Black Book states a 1100884 or 1100825 alternator can be used.
Which is the correct alternator?
The correct alternator for your application will be either a 1100825 or 1100882. Your car is sort of in the middle between when these two alternators were used so I don't think that you'd raise any questions as long as the alternator in question had the right date code.
The 1100884 alternator appeared much later in the 1969 calendar year and I would not expect to see it on a February 1969 built Corvette.
Any of those three alternators will be tough (I mean really tough) to find if you want an original and my guess is that you'll spend between $750 and $1000 for a rebuildable core. There is a reproduction that has appeared recently that looks pretty darn good for the most part, but I'm unfamiliar with the actual manufacturer.
I have a 1100884 dated Janury 9, 1969 and I thought it would be ok. It states in the judging manual that this alternator MAY have been used on any car requiring a 61-amp alternator (those with AC or TI). I have AC on the car but not TI.

Erv,
You are correct in that the 61 amp, internally regulated alternators were used in 1969 and 1970 on any Corvette with K-66, C-60, or K-66 AND C-60... Not a whole lot of cars to be sure which is one of the reasons that you don't see a whole lot of these alternators to start with.
It has been my observation that the 61 amp alternators followed a progression from 1100825 to start the model year, changing to 1100882 in early 1969, and finally going to 1100884 in the fall of 1969. There was definitely some overlap in usage, but it usually didn't take too long until the old stock ran out and was completely replaced by the more current part.
Would your 1969 Corvette have come with a 1100884 alternator? If it is an original C-60 car, then it would most certainly have had a 61 amp alternator, but I'm not certain that I'm sold on an 1100884 unit with a date stamp that early. The 1968-1969 TIM&JG was never very clear about the progression of these alternators (and at one time even omitted the 1100882 applications) so my guess is that you'll be OK with that alternator for judging as long as neither Mech. judge has done any personal research on this topic.
