On a 69 SBC # 3782608 in the NCRS judging manual is does not state whether the date code is judged.
Do you need the correct (5) month window for the date?

The water pump on my 71 was judged for apperance but not for it's date. You can contact Roy Sinor the judging chairman and ask for the judging sheets for a 69 and he'll email them to you in a pdf format....very helpful knowing what the judges will be looking for.
