I see the convertible's rally wheels are painted red, to match to hood accent colour. Was this an option available from the factory? I don't think so! :smash:
Nope. Not to my knowledge. It must have been done later. All as far as I know are Argent in color. To bad they are painted, It would be a museum quality car if it did :D :p:
That's interesting about the wheel thing. Glad to hear the idea didn't take for the rest of the regular production cars. Nice car but the wheels don't do it any favors. Not sure what ever happend to GRR, ever since he punched out that Realator for sitting in his car he has been a recluse, God was that ever funny(The punching part)
I just got back from Fall Carlisle looking for the real thing. You may not believe this folks, but cars are actually higher priced now then they were earlier in the Year
I went down to see if there were any deals, what a waste of time, I think all these people were hoping to sell their cars for what they were going for in May, and they would be fine wrong!!!!
I heard the same thing from everyone else I talked too, that the sellers were waaayyyy high on prices. The only car that was a good deal was a blk '67 does anyone remember the one from Corvettes that hadn't been on the road since '74 and still had the NY registration and inspection sticker on the window? Did anybody know how much he was asking?
Mac, there wasn't alot of vettes there actually, there was a real nice 71 or 72 coupe that could have been had for about $13K, a '99 w 45K for $29K thoose were the only cars that were priced right.
Tom
Was there anything at the fall Carlisle worth looking at or just the normal fare?
