Default LT-1 Radiator

Is there anywhere to purchase a reproduction radiator for a 70 LT-1? What other corvettes used the same radiator as an LT-1?

Mark, can you take it and get it re-cored. That way with the original end tanks, it is still original......at least by my definition

It's not the core that's bad. I damaged the end where the drain screws in when I was putting the car back together after I rebuilt the front end. I've found a machine shop that thinks they can fix it. Just looking for a back up in case they can't.

If you are looking for the Harrison Tanks, no one is making them. And good luck finding a good used one. I had the same problem and my radiator shop soldered in a piece for me - works fine.

That's the way to go if your LT-1 is otherwise original.

I would give the folks at DeWitts a call and see if they can give you some advice.

If the end tank is toast, then this one will work. It doesn't have a hole in the bottom for a drain, but you can add it.

If it's just a striped out bushing, any radiator shop will stock those. It's a standard solder in bushing.
