Partial Repaint Affect Cost?
My C5 was in for an estimate and "accidently" got a windshield forward repaint. 
What does that repaint do to the value of the car vis-a-vis originality?

If it "appears" as if it could be original, that's all that counts. Careful masking matters on a C5 repaint, as the body panels were painted separately, off the car, at Bowling Green; overspray on the frame/chassis is a dead giveaway for a repaint.
