Original Starter?

I have a starter that came off my 77 L82.I was wondering if someone could tell me if it is original or not.All I can find on it are the numbers 1109052 7A276 and it says DELCO REM USA.If it is original would it be worth keeping for a possoble rebuild?I have no idea what is wrong with it,It came with the car. Thanks for any information.....Jim

1109052 was used on '77 and early '78 automatics; that one was made on January 27, 1977, so it was used on a '77.

Thanks for your response,I really appreciate it!!!!So is this something I should hang on to or not.I would hate to throw something away that has value for someone.
