Default GM part?

Folks. Is this a rear valance for a sidepipe car? If so...is it an original GM peice? Thanks

Looks like someone cut it below the license plate area to clear a trailer hitch - it should show a horizontal line all the way across the bottom edge in the rear view, not that wide V-notch at the center.

69 only rear valance.
99% sure its GM.

there should be a part number in the area that looks like it is cut out - molded into the glass.

The panel looks as if it has been cut. I've never seen one like this. It should have the part number 3863752 molded in the back side of it.

Thanks but, I'm not convinced it was cut after it was molded but thats what I'm trying to figure out. It does have a part number but not the one you posted...see below

Hell, I’m going blind for sure now! There is nothing wrong with your panel. The part number you have on the back is for 1969 with side exhaust. I’m sorry; I did not look at it close enough! The p/n I gave you was for the 65-67 with side exhaust.

Here is a picture of an original one!

Kinda what I was thinking, here's mine...the cuts look just like the one I have. I'm now convinced I have a factory original 69 side pipe car rear valance. Are they very rare? Or a dime a dozen?

Ok, I'll give you two dimes.

If the panel is original then it should bring a nice price! If you plan on selling it, you should strip it down to the fiberglass to show there are not any repairs. Selling painted or primered parts won't bring as much money.
