This is my 1st post to this board. I live in Guam and undertaking a full resto on a 68 coupe. The car is in so-so shape but it's all there, original #'s. Work so far..
Pulled the 327/300 and TH400,yanked out all the HVAC stuff and most of the interior. Currently sandblasting fwd frame. I'm not a purist on orginal and it
does'nt mean much here anyway, but none the same, I'll attempt return to stock as to not embarrass my bretheren.
Wow, not use to quick responses. Thanks for the welcome. Forgot to mention I pulled off all power steering components and rebuilt them last week. Could easily turn into six months before they're pressure tested though. I have just about every vendors catalogs. Prices seem fairly comparable amongst them but you need to marry one to get the "discounts". Must be "woman owned businesses."
Any strong references for vendors? ie.. no back ordered, timely, cost , etc.??
Welcome aboard, 68mako. Make yerself at home. There's a few cold ones left in the fridge; grab me one while yer up! How's Guam this time of year? What's the price of gas on that side of the Pacific?
