Default 67 Horn

Can someone please help? I'm in the process of installing the horn button on the steering column of my 67 vert. I can't remember which way the "horn spring/pin" fits into the hub. That is, does the spring end go into the hub first or does the pin. Should the pin be making contact with the horn button or should the spring?

Thanks, Great picture but it doesn't help. I'm trying to understand which way to install the small pin/spring under the horn switch.

RESPO6T7,
FWIW. The pin on my car makes contact with the horn button.

Thanks, does it look like the pin is the tip of a bullet or does it have a hole in it?
