Beautiful weather in Maryland...60 degrees. Took the 69 out for it's trial run after rebuilding and reinstalling both the front and rear suspensions. Everything went GREAT. Car drove beautifully. Even the alignment didn't feel "off". Steering wheel was midline...no shakes, shimmies, noises, etc. Mrs. Chuck and I took about a 30 mile drive. Took a few banzai runs up to the 100 MPH range and the car ran like a scalded dog. Am going to have it aligned, but if my road test was any indication, I think I'm pretty close. Chuck
Vancouver and it's surrounding area (including Casa Mac) is currently buried under a foot of snow. Situation normal would be rain, rain and more rain (much like Seattle) but we just got hit by a blizzard which dumped 12" of snow in just over 12 hours.
My back still hurts from shovelling the driveway with the new shovel I hadda buy. Grrrr.
Snow? We had some last week. All melted now. Weather is "spring like". The local Hagerstown (Farmers) Almanac predicts a brutal February. Lots of snow, wind, etc. I know we'll pay the price for this run of weather, but for now, I'm not complaining. On a serious note, we have a major drought warning. The local reservoir's are at historic lows, and Baltimore is pumping water from the Susquehanna River for the first time in years. I believe we're 15 inches down in rainfall since Sept. 2001. Chuck
It was a great feeling :) No bad noises and nothing fell off. I didn't put the top down. We're having rain for the rest of the week, so no more driving for now. Might get one of the other "boys" up and ready for a run. Chuck
