Default Balancer Removal Help!!!

I originally asked this question over in the C-3 section, but it must be running on a different server 'cause I can't connect to it and see if anyone has any solutions. I'm trying to pull my balancer, I have a puller on and have cranked down to the point I'm afraid it is going to break, the darned thing looks like it is starting to bend. The balancer hasn't budged, what should I try next. Would a little heat help, how about more penetrating fluid? How about tapping on the edge of the balancer with a hammer?
This took up most of my afternoon, pulling on this damned thing, I guess in the past I've been lucky pulling in the past. I've used this same cheap-arsed Chinese puller many times in the past and it has never failed me before.

I broke the first puller (cheap style) on my BB balancer when removing it. I got a heavy duty bearing style billet unit got it off fine. I know several others over on the boat board who have also broken cheap pullers trying to get them off, so I'd recommend buying on of the heavy duty units. I use the Proform one from Jegs, about $70, which is a nice unit.
