Default Flags???

Can ´t anybody tell me what is the correct flag on the emblems, if i look in different catalogs , there is different in the black and white order,( most end with a whire in top end) is there different flags for different years, and in case of that, is there a list with year and flag??
or is it because some of them is non USA made??

The black/white fields changed slightly over the years. Order a replacement emblem specific for your year.

You might want to purchase a NCRS Judging & Information manual for the year you are wondering about.( NCRS.org)

This is from the judging manual for 78-79:

Early 1978 side emblems had a white square in the upper right position of the side emblem checkered flag, later 78's and most 79's had a black square in this position.

My 78 was made soon after the run of Pace cars and has a white square in the top right. Perhaps he replaced one and didnt realize there was a difference. or someone on the line made a mistake.

One side is a replacement emblem. The car would have left the assembly line with two of the same emblems.
