Default Need to Identify 4 Sp Trans.

I have a 4 speed transmission with the following numbers:
Casting Number: 3925661
Patent Number: 3088336
Serial Number: P1H07_ and the final number or letter seems to be a 4 or a Y or perhaps an H.

Can anyone identify what I have? Unless I read the above information wrong, it seems to be a 4 speed transmission made on June 7, 1971. I presume it is a Muncie. Could it be a Borg-Wagner? Heavy duty? What type? Thanks in advance for your help.

It's a '71 Muncie, built on June 7, 1971. The last character after the "7" is either A (M20), B (M21), or C (M22). It should also have a VIN derivative stamped somewhere on the main case, which will show it's original application.

Hi JohnZ: Thanks. So what I thought was a 4 or something else could be an A then. I found another number which is as follows:
11W312625. Does this has any meaning? Thanks, JB

Yup - that says it was originally installed in a '71 Nova built at Willow Run.
