tempiture sending unit replacement
Guys who has the closest tempiture sending unit.Mine is way off from my readings with a digital lazer thermometor.1966 b/b car

The best one is an old one from AC (hard to find, expen$ive - try Mary Jo Rohner, http://www.vettegal.com); next best is a Wells #TU-5 from AutoZone. In either case, your gauge reading is likely to be hotter than the temp really is. Short of adding resistors to the sender circuit, your best bet is to correlate your I.R. gun reading with what the gauge is telling you so you know how the two relate.
