When I finally get things (ie: mortgage, line of credit, life) paid down to a reasonable level, I think I'm gonna build myself a brawny, baudy creature like this- but since I can't afford the real deal, it'd have to be a Baldwin 'pretender' done my way.
I think I'll go for the full rear-window treatment, the GT style gas lid, though. The hood scoop is sweeeeet, so it'll be there.
Under the hood might be a problem. I don't know whether I'll go big block/low tech or small block/high tech. I guess it doesn't matter as long as I can out-drag 67Heaven's beastie (if he ever gets it done). I figure I got another 10 years before I need to be done.
Mac, that one looks like a copy, I think they all had the Datsun headlights, but I agee I love the look at the one that has been at Carlisle the last couple of years.
The thing is there are enough ratty old Sharks around, I could buy one that wasn't even close to correct and produce something beautiful. I doubt I'll ever be able to afford a midyear on a cop's salary, so this would be a way to have something funderful and affordable. I don't wanna go hog-wild like project no-flight because I like to drive my cars. Those Baldwim-Motion cars are just so....
Now, if I wuz a lawyer (instead of a copper) I would interpret your post as an offer to sell said vehicle for $6300 and, if you didn't complete this transaction, I would be 'forced' to take civil action for breach of contract :D :D but I'm not, so you're safe, 67.
I know it's a surprise (NOT!) to hear a police officer slamming lawyers but it's really a gross generalization. The problem is 99% of lawyers are giving the rest a bad reputation.

Ya, I can hear you up in front of the judge now, Mac. "He offered to sell me a 1967 Corvette, VIN #194377S....smudge....." :cry :cry :cry

That's what my Boss tells me....if you didn't have any problems to solve, you wouldn't have a job!
