I have a 69 with the same color combination except with a black top. The green really doesn't show up well in sun light. Look like black to most people.
The high bid is now up to $76,600 with almost 6 days left, I hope this one goes the distance and gets sold. It would be a good barometer for a realistic price of just how much '67 L-71's, like this one, would go for. If I had the bucks, I'd just buy it NOW for $97,500. :bs
I saw one like this at Carlisle last summer, with a price tag of $119K, though I don't know if it sold. I'm sure the bidders here are serious, but I can't help wondering if it will top out soon, or.......there will be a price war to get it.
From what I can see, this looks like a highly desirable car that people with lots of cash to spend won't be tight with the bucks. Obviously, the seller never approached ProTeam! :D
Yeah, white with electron-blue stinger and possibly stripes, wasn't it?
Wait a minute- you wanted to paint it red, white and blue like an American flag or something, didn't you? :p: Or was it blue, white and red, like the French flag??
It's now up to $80K, with 3 days left, kinda looks like my first Corvette! I hope this one goes the distance, I want to see what the reserve is, and what it sells for. This could be a historic "sell", which may "adjust" the going price of future sales.
At Carlisle this summer you might hear..."$100K for this, are you crazy, a '67 L-71 nicer than yours, just sold on eBay for $82K"! :D
