65 steering rag joint assembly question

65 steering rag joint assembly question
What is the correct configuration of the rag joint on a 65 with telescoping column. I have mine assembled with the rag riveted to the upper coupling (the longer one) and bolted to the lower coupling (short flat one). In this configuration the “bolt” is the stud like piece that extends into the slots in the upper coupling and the nuts are on the lower end toward the steering box.
