I just realized my emissions sticker is missing on my 81.
Anyone know where it should be?
Better yet anyone have pics of it and the other correct underhood stickers and thier locations?
One of the best photographic reference book series is Dobbins' 'Vette Vues Fact Books. Unfortunately, the series only covers Corvettes from 63 to 77. There are other restoration reference books covering 68-82 which I do not own, and I can't say if they specifically cover the description and location of the original stickers.
Just opening up a vendor's catalog, I see '1968-1982 Corvette Restoration Guide', and 'Corvette 1968-1982'. These books are about $25-$30 each. There are only two ways to find out if they are any good: (1) Pay the money, and takes your chances, or if you are lucky, (2) book reviews volunteered by helpful FCR members. :D
NCRS judging manuals will describe in varying amounts of detail the stickers the car should have, but do not usually have photographs to allow precise location. Another way get this information is to attend an NCRS event to observe and photograph original and restored cars. There is an NCRS meet near Montreal this weekend, but "Portage La Prairie" is probably a 2000 miles from Quebec.

Sorry, don't know where it should be, but I can tell you that ZIP (forum sponsor) has them:
MF-375 - 1981 Emission decal, Auto, Federal "AUD" - $10.00
MF-376 - 1981 Emission decal, 4-speed, Federal "AUF" - $10.00
MF-377 - 1981 Emission decal, Auto, Calif. "AUH" - $10.00
MF-378 - 1981 Emission decal, 4-speed, Calif. "AUJ" - $10.00
The decal is stuck sideways to the underside of the hood on the drivers side. All 80-82's where this way. I will see later if I have a picture of one for referance.
Not a problem at all. As for your T-tops...Melrose T-tops http://www.melroset-tops.com/ is who I use as my supplier for them. They have a repro top that is smoke tint rather than the blue or bronze at a good price. I have sold a few sets of them and liked what I got. They sometimes have a used set of originals sitting around but $$$$
