Default Tach Drive Distributor

Good morning everyone, I hope everyone that went had a great time at Carlisle!!

I recently picked up a tach drive distributor from a friend and would like some info on what it is out of. The numbers on the distributor are:

1111024
3 E 20

It's in decent shape so if you could let me know its application and it's approximate worth I would greatly appreciate it!!

Not really. Years ago the asking was about $100-$150 for a used distributor in nice condition.

But, remember that except for the replaceable internals which set the curve, the id of a distributor is simply wrapped around the housing on a little aluminum band. Reproductions of those bands are virtually indistinguishable from the originals, so that doesn't do anything to hold up value.

Do a little research; check out ebay, Hemmings, NCRS Driveline, etc. Actually, shopping the junk dealers at Carlisle would have been the perfect opportunity to find out the selling prices.

Chuck,

Thanks again for the good info. I am relatively new to the restoration game, so the knowledge of others such as yourself is very beneficial. I'll check out your suggestions on Ebay and Hemmings to get an idea for the value. Thanks again and if I can be of any help, please feel free to ask!!
