I have the 70 AIM, but no scanner. I'll try to talk you through. Both brackets are on the left or driver side of the engine.
The alternator bracket is like a "V" shaped bracket where the alternator mounts in the top of the "V". The bracket attaches to the head with two threaded holes on the front, and has a leg that runs from the back of the bracket to the outside of the left head. This leg attaches to the head at a threaded hole right above the No. 1 exhaust port.
The power steering bracket does not appear to hang off the head, but lower on the engine. It appears to bolt to the front of the block with one brace bolting to the front hole of the left engine mount.
In both cases, if you have the right brackets, location should become obvious when you position the bracket properly.
