Default Is this painted mark original?

I've got a 75 convertible with 12,300 original miles and was curious to know if this yellow paint mark is original on the smog pump.

Sorry I can't point to a NCRS manual page # and tell you 100% for sure, but my $ is on a quick visual way for assembly line workers to identify the correct pump to grab at a glance or some similar reason!
