Patrick, it looks like you were dead on the money.
If you haven't checked back at that thread, the guy who created the thread replied and explains that his father was a midyear judge for years. He posted a couple of pictures of his father's 66 427-390 coupe (sweet!) as well.
I read through all the posts and I'm glad to see our guys (you know- FCR, the close knit ones who don't talk to strangers) presented themselves very well indeed. Good work!!
It's to bad that friendly attitude from the normal C3 population couldn't take a little NCRS humor a few weeks ago when there was a question about springs and lowering. No names mentioned. :(
