Default 68 verse 69 horn button differences

Can someone point out the differences between a 68 horn button and a 69?
Thanks

Sir,

The differences between these horn cap assemblies are as follows:

A 1968 standard or telescopic steering column Horn Cap assembly is identical to and will this interchange with a 1969-1975 STANDARD steering column Horn Cap assembly. If you have a 1969-1975 TELESCOPIC steering column, the Horn Cap Assembly is larger in diameter and will NOT fit any 1968 steering column.

PS I would like a real nice 68 Tele column for one my 1968’s – it will make exit and entry easier.

Thanks Doc!
I believe the horn button I have is a 68 and was just wondering if there was a way to identify.
I know what you mean about sliding under the steering wheel on a 68 with a standard column.
