'78 Factory alarm

'78 Factory alarm
I need to replace my factory alarm horn on a '78. Corvette Central shows an "A" horn, but the one I removed is an "F". I have found items improperly replced in the past, so I am trying to ensure I get the right thing. Can anyone help? I also have a call into a firend who is a Chevy parts manager. I'm hoping by the end of today to get it on order :chevy :smash: :chevy

If you're doing the NCRS thing, I would trust the Judging Guide over Corvette Central's catalogue. Not that CC would deliberately try to mislead you but the Judging Guide is the book you're trying to comply to.

corvette bible says a high f note current service replacements may be
different tone any doubt regarding the tone give benfit to owmer

Thanks! The horn that came out, which appears original is stamped "hi f". My concern was that whoever owned the car before has done other improper things, and I found conflicts in the supplier catalogs. FYI-the cheapest price I found was at........GM Goodwrench restoration parts...23.00. Everyone else wants 26.00+ for foreign made horns. I think I'll go GM. :) :smash: :)
