C2 Bumpers
I need a complete set of mid year bumpers. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to get a set? I was looking at CC who will sell a set of 4 for 1300 but what is the quality of both the bumper and the chrome??

Try Mike at Americas Finest Corvettes. I took the ones off my 66 to the same plater he uses and they are show quality. I don't have his number handy but can get it if you want to talk to him. Be sure to ask whoever you get them from if the are triple plated (copper, nickel, chrome). This guy also has a fixture for straightening and alignment of mounting points.

I got one of his Vent Window Regulator rebuild kits last year at Carlisle and it was top notch.
As for the bumpers, I'm sending you an IM on who I'd not recommend. I got a set of rear bumpers from one of the major vendors and when they were shipped to me they were in the boxes of yet another of the bigger outfits. My 64 is driven everyday and the chrome on these bumpers didn't hold up at all, wearing down to bare metal in less than 3 years.
