Default Difference between Bloomington Gold vs. Silver

I bought a '64 roadster that scored 7800 points out of 8415 at Bloomington in 1994 for a Silver award. How many points (or percent of possible points) were needed for Gold? Are the starting number of points different for each car ('63 vs '69 for example) unlike the NCRS 4500? I was never into the idea of NCRS or Bloomington with my '69, but since this one may be close, I'm thinking about it. I've enjoyed reading about many of your NCRS Flight Judging experiences and it seems like it might be fun.

I believe the maximum points deduction for a gold is around 425 points.

One thing to consider is that 1994 is a long time ago. A lot may have been changed, or deteriorated since that Silver Certificate was earned. You may want to have it judgeed at an NCRS meet to see where it stands before you spend the big bucks to have it judged at Bloomington. An NCRS regional will cost you about $45 for registration and another $45 for judging. Just me 2 cents worth.
