Tunnel Insulation
Can the tunnel insulation piece be installed with the transmission in place?
Drove the car up on ramps to do this today and I don't believe it can be done or at least not with the car only raised 6".

I don't think you can do it, at least not keeping the insulation in one piece. TOUGH to try to get it above the trans, and then you've got the shifter in the way. Chuck

Upon a second look I certain it can not be done in one piece. Think of splitting done the middle and using an aluminized tape to join the top sections together. Only one problem, I need a lift to get the car up in the air so I can stand understand the car to "work" the two pieces in.
Know anyone with a lift?
