Hard to beat Al Knoch, although others prefer Auto Custom Carpet. I've used many Knoch items, but never tried ACC. Chuck

I've been visiting some of the swaps and shows this summer looking for carpet for my '68. I've checked out ACC, Trim Parts, and some others and have found that Al Knoch was far and above my favorite so far. Their carpet thread was heavier and seemed to have more threads per inch than the others. The others were actually a bit disappointing because the weight of the carpet didn't seem to approach the OEM carpet at all. I still want to check out Romeo Engineering here in Michigan before I make my final choice, but for now I think Al Knoch will get my money. I still have a couple of months to look before I buy.

I have used ACC and Al Knoch so far. The biggest difference between the two is that the ACC carpet comes with the backing insulation already attached, and Al Knoch's is not attached. I should mention that my 69 saw about 2500 miles in two years, and I thought the ACC carpet already needed replacing. That's why I am trying Al Knoch this time. I have nothing but good things to say about his seat covers.

I would like to see Romeo's carpet too, but I have heard of VERY long delivery times.
