Hi Uncle George. Afraid to say that I don't even know where Germantown, Maryland is. :) I'm in North Carolina now, on the Outer Banks and won't be back home till Saturday, Sept. 13. Any Marylander's out there who can help out? Chuck

Hey George,

Chuck is on the "Other side" of Maryland. More a -"BALTImoron" . :^}

Germantown is directly off I 270 North of Rockville/Gaitherburg ,but well
south of Frederick. Yeah,......I used to live in Damascus.

Seems like I've seen somebody on c3 Forum that's in G'town.

But 'ol Mark from Yankee Lady passes thru near there on his commute from
"Sykesville" to Rockville daily.

Give me a call ,and I should ,call him myself. :yesnod:

WHAT ARE YOU considering anyhow?

Talk to you Later.

Regards....Cholo :D

Hey Cholo...how ja been? A friend in Mass. is interested in this one...not a member of the forum. If she and the seller can come to an agreement on price, she'd pull the trigger on the deal, but before that happens would like someone to look at it and she'd pay for their time.

I live about 45 minutes from Germantown and might be able to look at it for you if you want.

What would you charge her to look at the car? She will be driving it back to Mass. Concerns are condition of frame, bird cage, brake lines, gas line, caliper leaks, overall condition of car...I don't know if the guy has a floor jack or not.

Looks like "the boys" have you covered George. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. If this wouldn't work out, let me know. I'm only about 1 1/2 hours from the DC area. I've honestly never heard of Germantown. I know Rockville, Damascus, Frederick, etc. More amazing since I've lived in Maryland for over 30 years.

We "Balti-Morons" tend to stay away from the "trendy's" down in and around "The District". :) Chuck

Charge? :lol: I was thinking I would do it for free to help out a fellow CF member. I figure that someday someone might return the favor. :D You can send me an e-mail with the contact info, etc. -Denney
