How do you pull wiper arms off
It is the simplest looking things that prove the most difficult for me. How do those arms pull off so I can get the grills off? :banghead:

Buy a wiper removal tool. They're pretty cheap. They look like a pair of pliers, BUT, one leg of the tool goes under the wiper arm, the other leg goes around the wiper trans. shaft. Both arms are rubber coated.
When you squeeze the "pliers", it will pop the wiper arm off. Some wiper arms have a spring loaded release lever that you'll have to pull back before you use "the tool". :) Chuck

Here's the wiper arm removal tool - about five bucks; the piece of tape is to avoid scratching the top of the wiper arm hub.

Thanks, I had never seen one of those, so I go down to the local Murrays, walk down the tool isle and the clerk is standing there with the very tool in his hand trying to figure out what it is and where to hang it. Talk about timing, thanks for the tip.
