Default Correct carb numbers

I have on my 70 convt. that I just purchased a holley carb with the list number of 4223-s, and below it 991. I cannot find that number anywhere in my books. What is that carb off of? Thankx in advance :confused:

I don't show any Chevy usage for a List #4223 - the date code is first week of September, 1969. :thumbs:

The only #4223 Holley I recall was an 850 cfm chokeless 4-barrel. It had mechanical secondaries and the accelerator pump nozzles were located in the centerpost. Holley considered this carb design suitable for racing only. In fact, they marketed them in pairs for drag racing with a tunnel ram intake back in the seventies. Yowzah!
