has anyone had the problem of rain leaking through the top of the convertible? am i the only one? is there any quick fix thats reliable, besides duct tape?
I'm afraid to say that nearly all Corvette convertibles leak...some more than others Where is yours leaking? Front header? Side windows? Rear deck weatherstrip? Is the leak really from the top, or is it possibly from the rear deck or the windshield? Chuck
i know this may not go over but to try to get something going on this forum with my dry humor hear goes gee i never heard or a leak in a vette i just throught that was gm way of cleaning the interior

You're right, Paul. Not much humor here...not much of anything here anymore. Sad in a way.
I bought my 63 in 1967. Had about 25K miles on it. Original factory top, WS, etc. Leaked like a seive. I got soaked the first time I drove it in the rain. It leaked so much that the water would pool under the seats. Then, when you went downhill...the water would literally pour over your ankles. NO kidding. It's better now, but it still leaks.
My 69 is an adventure too. Leaks around both the side windows.
Window leaks and weatherstrip leaks are one thing. Leaks around the windshield can indicate rust/holes in the WS frame or a poor seal around the windshield. Chuck

Not that I know of, could you spray it down with Scotchgard, or some other water repellant?
well, its coming from like...the side windows, and its reaeaeaealllyyy nerve racking, cause my wife always frogets and turns the sprinkles on and ahhh...i dotn want to pay too much to fix it and then have it not really get fixed
What's the condition of your weatherstripping?! Is it original? Shot? Dried up and crackled? You may want to consider replacing the weatherstripping. How is the fit of the weatherstripping on the door glasses? You may need to adjust the weatherstripping to seal well on the door glasses.
