Default FM reception tag: 1967

I have two tags here. I was told one was original and one was repro - how do I tell which is which.

One is single sided the other has wording on both sides. And, if its the one with wording on both sides, which side faces out to the passengers?

Help me out here.

Neither - 67's didn't use a hang-tag on the radio - they had a Radio Instruction Sheet (P/N 7291985) which was placed in the plastic bag with the owner's manual.

John as usual you are correct but I have a feeling that lemish was talking about the yellow antenna card that goes behind the tuning ****. If I am correct the original one is the one with wording on both sides.

Oops, my bad! The '67 used P/N 3886966 tag, and prior years used the 3844066 tag; I believe the 966 tag was one-sided, as the reverse side of the prior 066 tag described what height to set the antenna for optimum FM reception, and 67's had a non-adjustable fixed antenna mast, vs. the power antenna on '65 and '66.

Can someone verify that the tag I want for a '67 should not have the 30 inch stuff on the back.

Also, should the card have the part number printed on it or not?

Lemish, Go over your Op's. Very important. Every Op's hit is a big one. I assume that you have the easy points for the fire extinguisher, battery cut off & NCRS sticker? Best of luck take alot of pictures.

Yes I only lost 2 points in OPS; I took a 12 point hit for the trip odometer that wouldnt reset, but got the 10 bonus points for the fire extinguisher, battery cut off & NCRS sticker.

Thanks for asking: I sure did and with more than a few % to spare - and it was a well judged show too...

Al Grenning and Paul judged Mechanical, Nick on my all original interior, known experts on exterior too.

I lost the most points on Chassis, but they basically took condition points off for cleanliness on each line item which they should have taken off on the cleanliness box at the bottom of the sheet. The took the deduct there too. So, basically they double hit me for cleanliness and I had not even cleaned the car since I only owned it a few days so far.
