Default 327 intake manifold question

I recently acquired a cast iron intake manifold #3919803 which I believe was once used on one of the 1968 327 blocks. However, my intake also has a large (1 inch?) capitol letter "R" casted just below the Firing order sequence numbers on the top front of the Manifold. Anyone know what that means? Just wondering. It cleaned up nicely and I plan to use it anyways.

"R" stands for Rochester or the manufacturer of the Q-jet carb used on that manifold. A Holley cast iron manifold would normally have a "H".
